VSA SL Poles

Valleystone Super Light Aluminum Poles

Born from Exploration, Forged with Resilience

  1. Development History: The VSA Aluminum Pole is a masterful creation from our R&D team. Born from a deep understanding of the harsh challenges posed by outdoor environments, we dedicated ourselves to developing a tent pole system that is lighter, stronger, and more durable. From selecting aerospace-grade aluminum alloy materials to employing innovative variable-diameter tapered tube technology, each step underwent numerous tests and experiments. This ensures unparalleled stability and support against strong winds, snow load, and repeated use.
  1. Usage and Maintenance Guide: Extend the Lifespan of Your Expedition Partner

   Proper Setup

  1.  Identify Orientation: If the pole sections have a pre-bent curve, connect and thread them according to the direction indicated in the tent instructions.
  2.  Handle Gently: When connecting pole sections, ensure the joints are aligned and push gently by hand until they fit together snugly. Avoid using excessive force, striking, or bending forcefully.
  3.  Even Load Distribution: When pitching the tent, ensure all poles bear the load evenly. Avoid excessive bending or undue stress on any single point. Especially after snowy or windy conditions, promptly clear accumulated snow from the tent surface.

   Careful Maintenance

  1.  Cleaning: After use, wipe the pole surfaces clean of dust, dirt, and sand with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with clean water. Do not use corrosive cleaners or stiff brushes.
  2.  Drying: Crucial! After each use, ensure the poles are thoroughly air-dried, especially the connecting joints and internal sections, before storage.
  3.  Storage: Avoid excessive bending or forcing the poles into an overly small storage sack.
  4.  Long-term Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures, high humidity, or corrosive environments.

III. After-Sales Support: We’ve Got You Covered

We provide robust after-sales service for VSA SL Poles:

   Non-Manufacturing Defects / Damage:

Bent Pole: Within one year of purchase, under normal use conditions, if accidental bending occurs (non-catastrophic), please contact our customer service immediately (see contact details below). Depending on the specific situation, we may provide free repair guidance or a replacement (one-time).

Broken Pole: Within one year of purchase, if a break occurs (not due to forceful manual destruction), please retain the broken pole and proof of purchase, and contact customer service. Upon confirmation that it results from a material or manufacturing defect, we will replace the corresponding pole section or the entire pole free of charge according to the warranty policy (one-time).

Note: Both aluminum alloy and carbon fiber possess a degree of flexibility. Prolonged stress and bending may cause slight permanent deformation, known as benign creep deformation. This is related to the material properties of the tent pole and is not considered a quality defect, nor does it affect the pole’s normal performance. If breakage or severe bending deformation occurs under the normal conditions described above, please be sure to retain photos and videos of the abnormal pole in situ on the tent (showing the breakage/severe bend during use) to facilitate the after-sales service claim process with customer service.

   User-Induced Damage:

Damage caused by improper setup (e.g., forcing bends in the wrong direction), improper maintenance (e.g., corrosion breakage due to inadequate drying), accidental excessive pressure, pet damage, improper transportation, or other user error is not covered under the free warranty.

Important Safety Notice:

Stay away from power sources! Carbon fiber is an electrical conductor. When pitching the tent, always ensure the tent and poles are kept clear of high-voltage power lines and electrical cables. Do not use outdoors during thunderstorms.

Friendly Tip: Before your first setup, we recommend practicing once in a familiar environment to master the correct connection and pole threading techniques.

A New Height in Lightweight Performance: VSC UL Poles Carbon Fiber Technology Analysis

Carrying Boundless Horizons with Ultimate Lightness

VSC UL Poles

Valleystone Carbon Fiber Ultralight Poles

  1. VSC UL Poles: Carbon Wings, Light as a Feather, Tough as Steel

Development History: The VSC UL Poles represent our relentless pursuit of the pinnacle of lightweight performance. After 14 months of dedicated R&D and countless iterations, we meticulously selected aerospace-grade high-strength carbon fiber prepreg. Utilizing precision multi-axial weaving technology, the VSC UL Poles demonstrate exceptional specific strength (strength-to-weight ratio) and outstanding fatigue resistance in extreme strength and low-temperature testing, pushing the boundaries of lightweight design and structural support.

  1. Usage and Maintenance Guide: Caring for Your Lightweight Tool

Proper Setup (Requires Extra Caution Due to Carbon Fiber Properties):

  1.  Identify Orientation: If the pole sections have a pre-bent curve, connect and thread them strictly according to the direction indicated in the tent instructions. Carbon fiber is highly sensitive to bending in unintended directions.
  2.  Extremely Gentle Handling: When connecting pole sections, ensure the joints are perfectly aligned and push gently by hand only until they fit together snugly. Absolutely avoid using excessive force, striking, forcing bends, or attempting to over-flex the poles. Prevent collisions with sharp rocks or hard objects.
  3.  Even Load Distribution: During setup, ensure all poles share the load evenly. After snowy or windy conditions, promptly clear accumulated snow from the tent surface to avoid excessive point loading. In strong winds, use all provided guy lines and stakes.

Careful Maintenance (Carbon Fiber is Corrosion Resistant but Susceptible to “Internal Damage”):

  1.  Cleaning: After use, wipe the pole surfaces with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with clean water. Do not use corrosive cleaners or stiff brushes. Grit can easily become embedded in the joints; clean these areas meticulously.
  2.  Drying: While carbon fiber itself has superior corrosion resistance compared to aluminum, the connecting joints and internal chambers must still be kept dry. Wipe poles clean after use and ensure connections are dry before storage.
  3.  Store in Original Sections: Absolutely avoid forcing or excessive bending during storage, as this can cause internal fiber damage (which may not be visible but severely reduces strength).
  4.  Avoid Twisting: Keep the poles straight and avoid storing them in a twisted state.
  5.  Storage: Avoid storing the poles where they can be crushed by other hard equipment inside your pack.
  6.  Long-Term Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat (e.g., inside a closed vehicle under the sun) or direct ultraviolet light.

III. After-Sales Support: Dedicated Protection for Your Lightweight Gear

We provide a dedicated after-sales service policy for VSC UL Carbon Fiber Poles:

   Non-Manufacturing Defects / Damage:

Bent Pole/Abnormal Deformation: Within one year of purchase, under normal use conditions, if accidental bending or significant abnormal deformation occurs, stop use immediately and contact customer service (see details below). Due to the specific nature of carbon fiber (where damage may be internal and invisible), do not attempt repair. We will provide a free replacement (one-time).

Broken Pole: Within one year of purchase, if a break occurs (not due to forceful manual destruction), please retain all fragments of the broken pole and your proof of purchase, and contact customer service. Upon confirmation that it results from a material or manufacturing defect, we will replace the corresponding section or the entire pole free of charge according to the warranty policy (one-time).

   User-Induced Damage & Special Considerations:

Damage caused by incorrect setup orientation, over-bending, strong impact, twisting during storage, abnormal loading (e.g., being struck by a heavy object), or other user error (including internal damage not visible to the naked eye) is not covered under the free warranty. Carbon fiber failure is often sudden and catastrophic; correct use is paramount.

Important Safety Notice:

Stay away from power sources! Carbon fiber is an electrical conductor. When pitching the tent, always ensure the tent and poles are kept clear of high-voltage power lines and electrical cables. Do not use outdoors during thunderstorms.

Read instructions carefully before first setup: It is highly recommended to practice in a familiar environment to master the correct connection, threading, and storage methods.
